7 Reasons that Justify the Collapse of highly Intelligent People in Business

We, as a whole, know one thing that insightful individuals are adaptable, versatile and can flourish in troublesome circumstances yet there is likewise a severe truth which may you don't have the foggiest idea, that the vast majority of the highly intelligent people come up short in business or numerous non-rational individuals prevail in it. Do you know why?

Here, I am going to state the reasons why smart people aren’t the most successful in their career

Actually, in academic years we are being judged based on marks, percentage, etc. We have just a single thought process for example to come on the top or to run quicker to flourish ourselves but professional years are entirely different as we are being judged on the grounds of performance. So we have to show creativity.

“Business is all about showing creativity. One who shows creativity gets wealth”

Here, the thing is to mark a line between academic years and professional life, which most of the intelligent people break down to do so.

Furthermore, the ups and downs of life are the best instructors as they give us experiences and wisdom. Most of the highly intelligent people won’t have experienced the difficulties that their seniors do, and they don’t want to learn from them because they dislike making mentors i.e. they hate couching, training, direction, and bits of advice given.

They don’t realize that mentors are just like that water which succor a plant to grow and become a fruitful tree. They try to teach and want their success. Contrary to this, smart individuals envision that they have taken in a ton during their academic stretch and don’t need an advisor. This is one of the explanations, why they do moronic things.

As research shows that lack of business skills, managerial and industrial experiences are the leading causes of failure.

The third reason is, being inconsistent. Achievement requests a man to be tenacious & persistent which most of the genius people lack in. They want things to happen in just a fraction of second and don’t show enough patience to bore fruits which is the significant downside of their life.

Human’s average IQ (Intelligence Quotient) is 100 and people who have 115 or more mental ability count have Intelligence above average, Genius with 140 and extraordinary genius with an IQ of 160 or above.

Just consider for a minute, the success of Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Thomas Edison, and Ben Franklin. What do you think, they were successful in their first attempt? Visibly, No.

·   Albert Einstein, the father of physics who developed the theories of relativity, had an IQ=160(Extraordinary genius) didn’t speak until he was 4 and normally a child starts speaking before 1.

·   Bill Gates, an American billionaire and a co-founder of Microsoft Corporation, had an IQ=160(Extraordinary genius) failed in his first business.

·       Thomas Edison, America’s greatest inventor, had an IQ=145(Genius) did 1000+ light bulb attempts and then succeeded.

·   Ben Franklin, One of the founding fathers of the US and an American polymath had an IQ=160(Extraordinary genius) was dropped out from school at the age of 10.

Briefly, the purpose to mention these four is that they all got success because they were persistent, they didn’t lose hope, they attempted over and over to get an achievement and learned from their failures. So, why are you not showing such patience if you want success?

Set these four people aside and think about Mr. Abid Wazir Khan, who failed in chemistry (intermediate Part-1) but now he is the owner of 150+campuses of KIPS. KFC is another model for you. Colonel Harland Sanders, proprietor of KFC started his work by selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant, he moved on step by step and now he has his well- settled business. The main thing which conceded them success is consistency. That’s why I am stating it is essential for a businessman to be consistent.

Another perspective of smart people’s failure is that they comprehend the world through their own filters. They attempt to examine the client’s view prior to them i.e. before the customer's input about the item they make an attitude that the customer will sign an agreement with them or the other way around, which is an off-base methodology in business, sometimes. Because when you get results against your desires you begin questioning your aptitudes and capacities.

People with high IQ also hate to contribute little, they want to do big things for the sake of fame by leaving their creativity on the principal step and putting their stride on the tenth one.

Here, we can relate this point to the fine line and bottom line. The bottom line means “profit” and the fine line means the system, workflow, infrastructure, lighting, software, technology, and other tools. The main focus of smart people is on the fine lines i.e. they want infrastructure and other things to be perfect, they spend money on these things which they have earned throughout the month for the sake of perfection. So, where is their profit? If they have earned $500 and spend $550 on the system. Obviously, they have earned nothing. On the other hand, the focus of average intellect people is on the bottom line (profit). They don’t care about their building infrastructure, they are less interested in placing projector and other tools. The only goal they have is to earn a profit. That’s why they become successful earlier. To understand this concept more clearly, click on this link; https://youtu.be/xGSo31wz7YY

You have seen many times that highly intelligent people earn money after facing a lot of troubles and failures but average intellect people make money very easily in millions. This is the reason, that I have mentioned.

“Highly intelligent people focus on the fine lines and ignore the bottom lines”

Relationship between Confidence & Intelligence

Business success has very little to do with intelligence but it has to do a lot with confidence.

Highly intellect individuals are full of doubts, and they give more attention to what they don’t know. But how? Let me explain you with an example of three unequal boxes.

The first one is about the knowledge (what you know), the second is of what you don’t know, and the third is of what you don’t know you don’t know.

If you have noticed, the central box is the smallest but it creates the most anxiety not the third one even if what these people know is greater than what they don’t know because they think more about the things which are not clear to them and this thought is the mother of anxiety, nervousness, low self-esteem, loss of confidence and confusion.

At this point they lose their confidence and what can you do if you have no confidence? You can’t even talk with the customers clearly and become a failure.

In a nutshell, I have given 7 points of the collapse of highly intelligent people in the business. These are;

  1. They want to come on the top & don’t mark a line between academic years and professional years.
  2. They dislike making mentors.
  3. They don’t slow consistency.
  4. They comprehend the world through their own filters.
  5. They hate to contribute little and desires fame.
  6. They focus on the fine lines and ignore the bottom lines.
  7.  They think more about what they don’t know.
In order to avoid failure, one should avoid these 7 things to become successful. If you think the same way as I am, then share it with others also.
